The “GI Bill” of 1944 was one of the nation’s most significant pieces of legislation and no university was more closely identified with it than Syracuse University. The bill drew on SU’s “can do” spirit and paved the way for future programs, such as the Institute of Veterans and Military Families (IVMF).

You are invited to attend and participate in the oral doctoral examination of Zhou Xing, candidate for the Ph.D. degree. Xing's advisor is Professor Marina Artuso. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Steven Blusk, Jay Hubisz, Mitchell Soderberg and Sheldon Stone. Professor Pramod Varshney will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate's dissertation is: "Measurement of the semileptonic CP violating asymmetry in decays and the: production asymmetry in 7 TeV pp collisions."
