ROTC

ROTC

ROTC and Syracuse University have been producing quality leaders since 1918. The ROTC program enables you to become a commissioned officer in the Air Force or the Army while pursuing a degree. As an ROTC cadet, you also take advantage of scholarships that provide liberal tuition benefits. At the same time you gain leadership skills useful in military or civilian careers. The skills acquired in ROTC will set you apart from the average college graduate regardless of whether you take one semester or complete all four years in the program.

Although academic majors among ROTC students cover a wide range, you will find that cadets have much in common. Cadets are highly motivated and strive for excellence in all that they do. They are leaders among their peers and are involved in all aspects of University life. The ROTC program combines with the breadth of the University to offer you the best of both worlds.
