Eric F. Spina was named Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Provost of Syracuse University in January 2007 after a brief term as Interim Vice Chancellor and Provost. Spina brings to this position almost 20 years of experience at Syracuse University in teaching, research and administration. Before accepting his new position, Spina was the Douglas D. Tom Evans serves as the General Counsel for Syracuse University. He is responsible for providing legal advice and services to the entire University, including the Board of Trustees, as well as to the University's affiliates and subsidiaries. Kevin Quinn joined the University as Vice President for Public Affairs in 2006 and was named Senior Vice President in July 2009. Quinn leads the University's public relations, communications, and government & community relations activities. Dean, School of Education

Douglas Biklen is Dean of the School of Education and Professor of Cultural Foundations and Teaching and Leadership at the School of Education, Syracuse University. He is a senior faculty member in the Center on Human Policy, Law and Disability Studies. His most recent book is Autism and the Myth of the Person Alone (2005). He was Educational Advisor for the Academy award-winning documentary Educating Peter (1992, HBO), co-producer of the Academy Award-nominated CNN documentary Autism is a World (2004) and co-producer/director of the film My Classic Life as an Artist: A Portrait of Larry Bissonnette. Daryl Gross assumed his current position in February 2005 and is responsible for overseeing, managing and directing all aspects of the Department of Athletics and the Carrier Dome. Kalpana Srinivas, Assistant Chancellor Kalpana Srinivas

Assistant Chancellor

Kalpana Srinivas supervises operations and manages critical activities within the Office of the Chancellor and the Chancellor's Residence. She has a B.S. degree in biology and chemistry from Rajsthan University, India, and an M.S. degree in Instructional Design Development and Evaluation (IDDE) from the School of Education at Syracuse University.
