Enrollment and Degree Verification

Enrollment Verification

Certification of a student’s enrollment status for semester (s) attended at Syracuse University.

For students who are enrolled this semester and up to 2 years after enrollment

Current students may obtain enrollment verification through MySlice, by going to Student Services > Enrollment > View Enrollment Verification

Current students may also use the options provided to alumni or students who last attended SU more than two years ago (below).

Please Note: Enrollment statements can be provided for current and past semesters and summer sessions, but not for a future semester or session.

For students who have not enrolled for 2 or more years

Contact the Registrar’s Office at (315) 443-2422, crecords@syr.edu, or stop in at 106 Steele Hall.

You will be required to provide identifying information and/or a photo id when you make your request.



Degree Verification

Certification by Syracuse University of a student's degree(s) information awarded by Syracuse University.

For students who have not enrolled for 2 or more years

Contact the Registrar's Office at (315) 443-2422, crecords@syr.edu, or stop in at 106 Steele Hall.
You will be required to provide identifying information and/or a photo id when you make your request.



For Employers and Background Screening Firms

Syracuse University has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide degree and enrollment verification for current students. We require that employers and background screening firms contact the Clearinghouse for this information. The Clearinghouse does charge a fee.
